Please call our disability services phone line at (508) 883-7235 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Will you service my product even if I didn't purchase it from Bellingham Electric?

In most cases, yes, we will! If it is out of warranty, we can service it for our flat service fee of $189 + parts in our main service area (Purple inner ring on our Service Map). If you are from our outer service area (Blue outer ring on our Service Map) and your product was purchased elsewhere, we charge $219 + parts. We do not provide service for products not bought from Bellingham Electric to customers who live outside our outer service area. If your product was purchased elsewhere but is still under warranty, you'll need to contact your retailer or the manufacturer directly for service. We do not provide warranty service for products purchased elsewhere.

There are a few exceptions like refrigerators and air conditioners purchased elsewhere and Kenmore items where we will not be able to offer service.

How much will it cost? Can you give an estimate over the phone?

When we send out a technician for out-of-warranty repairs, we'll charge you $189 + parts for all products purchased at Bellingham Electric. For products purchased elsewhere, we charge $189 + parts if you are from our main service area (Purple inner ring on our Service Map). If you are from our outer service area (Blue outer ring on our Service Map) with products purchased elsewhere, we charge $219 + parts. The labor is a one-time charge, so any additional visits for the same problem will not incur further labor charges.

Jobs that require two technicians, such as repairing a stacked dryer, will incur an additional $89 labor fee.

If you want us to take a look at another appliance in the same visit, or even a whole suite of appliances, the labor for each additional appliance is $89.

As for estimates over the phone - that depends on the problem. Some problems are easy to diagnose over the phone, in which case we can give you a relatively reliable estimate. Other problems could have multiple causes, so an exact estimate is not possible.

The more you tell us on the phone about the problem, the better the odds that we can fix it in one shot! Again, there's no extra charge to you if we have to come back, but it's obviously much more convenient for your schedule.

Do you bring parts to fix the product on the first visit?

Our service van is stocked with a variety of common repair parts, and we can bring additional parts based on the issues we discussed on the phone with you. We try our best to have the part, but that's not always possible. There is no additional charge if we have to come back another time.

What if my appliance isn't worth fixing?

Sometimes the cost of the part makes repairing an appliance too expensive. In those cases, after you pay the $189 service fee, we can offer you an $89 credit towards a new appliance from Bellingham Electric.
