We were so excited for this machine because of all the hype... We have already had issues. A loud squealing sound and an overheating error message (ERR 65) within the first 2 weeks of owning this brand new unit. It cleans clothes well, but it's not flawless.

So far I love my washer. I can wash a load of laundry in about 36 minutes. Other benefits are I can wash my athletic shoes and they get clean. I am also able to wash my waterproof mattress pad, as well as washing small loads and delicates. In my previous washing machine that was not a Speed Queen but was a reputable brand I was not able to wash waterproof items, there was not a small load option, it did not get my athletic shoes clean and it took an hour on quick wash to do a load of laundry. Plus my previous machine was getting out of balance and bouncing around. Not on every load but on a lot of them so I had to stay near it while it was washing. My new Speed Queen is a joy to use.

After a month I can say that the machine has my confidence. Last Samsung one leaked. With speed queen making industrial machines, I feel confident this one is made sturdy. It has a center rotator and no rubber casing to get slimy!

Excellent washer and dryer -- and beautiful in matte black. But the large lid decal that Speed Queen puts on took over 30 minutes to remove, and the sticky residue even longer. That's a big mistake and a disservice to the consumer.

Unfortunately the first washer delivered was dented on the bottom front corner. Waited two weeks for another one and no dents on that one but when they ran it water came by out all over the floor. Had a leak at the bottom of the washer had to take it back. Waiting for third one. Dryer was ok.

I regret this purchase. The "perfect wash" is a useless wash. Instead of agitating the clothes it waves them around in the water so the clothes do not get clean. I have had to rewash about 90% of my loads since I purchased this expensive, subpart washer.

I bought a whirlpool washer and dryer earlier this year and was SO disappointed with both of them. I should have listened to my friend who told me to only buy Speed Queen. A few months later, I ended up giving the whirlpools away and purchased the Speed Queens. They are like night and day compared to Whirlpool. Speed Queen is quick, efficient, cleans clothes better than any other washer that I have ever had!! I am never buying anything other than Speed Queen!! Don't waste your money on any other brand!!

Excellent machine. Very quiet and love the cycle times. Switched back to a top loader after 2 front loaders which develop a dirty, smelly, slimy gasket despite constant efforts to keep it clean. Staying with a top loader until someone develops a workable solution to the gasket problem.

The washer had problems at the beginning. The installers tested it briefly, then left. But when I ran a load it would fill, then stop. I notified the seller. It was the board, with its computerized controls. The lid was supposed to lock before the wash started. But it did not. A week later, the part was received, then delivered. Meanwhile my heavy wet load of washing sat in the new washer. The new board worked. Since then it has been a bit of a learning curve but is washing fine. It is not "quiet" at all, but that is ok. I would prefer dispensers for the detergent and the clothes softener, instead of pouring the detergent in first. and having to pour the softener into the agitator then adding more water. And why must I add an extra rinse to the load? I would recommend this washer to a friend IF that person was told the limitations of the product.

The overall experience with the tr7 washing machine is good. I'm still new to tr7. To me it's a different experience. The machine moves the water around instead of moving the clothes. So I tend to use the soak cycle more. The Machine is a quite and seems to be made very well. No rattling noise at all. Speed queen are expensive but when I was shopping around for washers salesman where telling me to buy an extended warranty. So that was a red flag for me. Do I really want to call a warranty company or have time to. So I bought speed queen because the reviews talked about the Quality of the products. I would recommend the tr7 to some people. If you're getting dirty a lot. This might not be for you. I do construction work for a living this washer works for me. I guess I wanted a machine that would last 15 + years and IF it does then it's worth the money

We hate having to buy another washing machine every 3-4 years, so we decided to purchase a commercial grade washer. We haven't had this washer but for a few weeks, so far it is great! Compared to all the different models we have had in the past 40+ years, it is by far the best! It washes a lot faster, the clothes smell cleaner, it is very quiet, and our power bill has gone down.
