Does not humidify, would not consider Frigidaire again

This is my second recent Frigidaire air conditioner unit that just does not dehumidify whatsoever, leaving me with a room that's 60-something degrees and 75% humidity. I've tried all the suggestions, like making sure it's appropriately sized for the room, trying different modes, and tilting it backwards to drain. I tried contacting support for the previous model and it was useless - just someone mindlessly working through a very obvious checklist and concluding "yep everything's fine". I sold that one and bought a different model, thinking it would perform better but here we are. I am ready to eat another $800, or maybe I'll just run a dehumidifier side by side which really sucks.
